Growing up in BC was incredible. However, I do not think I explored in enough to really appreciate the views, the landmarks, and the environment. The summer heat allowed me to be a tourist again in my hometown. My favorite activity is to take the skytrain to Waterfront Station and hop on to the seabus over to Lonsdale Quay market. I love the sushi and the casual atmosphere to enjoy the day. What did you do this summer that you will chat about with your friends? In my 💛 I know visiting The Butchart Gardens with my kiddos was a memory keepsake for us all.  In my 💛  I feel visiting my childhood landmarks with my kiddos helps them reflect on my youthful days. We built a greenhouse garden to protect the vegetables from the unpredictable YYC weather this year. We have learned so much about planting seeds and creating space amongst the veggies. The corn definitely needed more area to flourish. We are hoping we will get a harvest soon. The green tomatoes outside the greenhouse are doing well. In my 💛 I know spending time with my family in BC has brought me the most joy I have felt in a long time. In my 💛  I feel being vaccinated allowed all friends and families to gather in smaller groups to celebrate. In my 💛  I wish I could spend more time with my loved ones and not return to my YYC life.
